Apparently to show them how they would have be treated in 'olden days'! In comparison to what exactly, how they are treated nowadays, given free entry to attractions? Any comments?

Can you provide a link to the story please.
Hmmm, i think they should give them free entry to all attractions. Its about time it wasnt just ethnic minorities who benefitted all the time...

Sorry ludwig, don't have a link, it has just been reported on the news on Radio 2, and only applies to this bank holiday weekend.

Will see if I can find one.
Nice idea. It would serve them right if their 'guests' trashed the exhibition and nicked loads of stuff from the shop.

Maybe its a ploy and they will put them in the stocks for the paying visitors to throw fruit and veg at!
Should go down a bundle with the fee paying tourists with their kids. "look little jonny if only you'd clobbered the little old lady at numbre 23 continually I wouldn't have had to pay for you"
That's cutbacks for you! They used to send them on Safari in Kenya now all they get is a museum trip. Is seems it doesn't pay to be a thug these days! I must write to my MP Demanding more humane treatment for thugs!
no wonder society is in meltdown

Not so much the PC Brigade but the liberal elite thinking they all know better than us. Same lot of luvvies that hug trees, wear sandals and cords, hate cars, love the HRA, love terrorists and of course lets not forget know how to spend your tax DOLLARS better than you !
The York Dungeon is a privately run enterprise and as such they can admit or give concessionary admission to whoever they like. Got to admire their marketing, this story will undoubtedly make all the Right Whingers apoplectic with rage and will be leapt on with glee by the likes of the Daily Mail, et al.

That is not to say it is utterly disgaceful.
I heard this as well on the radio and not having an ASBO I wasn't sure how you could gain entrance. Usually with age if you do not look old enough or too youthful you take something as proof to claim your concession. With an ASBO do you get a certificate or a licence like driving that you flash at the entrance? Personally I believe well trained people such as some of the posters here would be able to identify an ASBO person a mile off with 100% accuracy. I would propose this weekend, Neilzulu and JtL as being competent to sit in a museum and spot the ASBO and let them in for free
I really really hope the little oiks start damaging the exhibitions, steal loads of sweets, smash the toilets up, mug a few staff members, set off the smoke alarms, spit everywhere, scratch the managers car in the carpark, hurl rascist abuse at the imported workforce, get some 13 year old chavette up the duff in the first aid room, and put washing up liquid in any fountain they have.

That'll teach the left wing Marxist fanny pads that think they are doing some good to society.

Bloody do-gooders make me sick to the teeth. Give these kids a damn good whacking, not free passes to attractions.
ROFL joe, respect!
What is so bad about free entry.... to a Dungeon?? Not exactly the No. 1 tourist attraction on my list. It might prove to be educational and help the young delinquents reconsider wther they want to follow a life of crime for the rest of their lives. Not everyone has a lavish childhood you know, maybe these families cannot afford to go there otherwise, so a free trip would be a lovely change away from their drab, dangerous, crime ridden neighborhoods ........
Reminds of the time when some fcukwitted social workers thought it would be a good idea to take a compulsive teenage thief for a weekend in Centreparcs and let him loose. (Show these people a bit of trust and respect and it works wonders - that's how the theory goes I think).
Anyway, he obviously used the occasion to go on a massive thieving spree so not a great result, but on the plus side the social workers had a nice weekend break out of it.
This crime business looks ok - I might try punching some old biddy on the way home tonight. Maybe I'll get some Woolworths gift vouchers out of it.

Thanks for your comments everyone, sorry I havent given anyone any stars but I busy this afternoon, mugging grannies, happy slapping and thieving! Managed to get arrested by the pigs but unfortunately as these were my first offences it is unlikely I will get an ASBO in time to take advantage of this offer!

;-o(
Well ASBO's are status symbol these days. It would seem it is a biiger status symbol than we thought. It gets u in any where for nothing. Bit like being a celeb.
Some years ago, my unemployed brother went for an interview at a training centre to learn a trade. After ten minutes, the interviewer asked him what he had been convicted of. My brother told him nothing, he had never been in trouble. The interviewer apologised about poor communications and told him that the training places were only for young offenders. My brother didn't get to learn a trade. Today, he is out of work and has been for eighteen months. I wonder if the lucky offenders are now well trained enough to earn decent money. Crime certainly pays.
