I split with my fella after 5 years 3 months ago was with him since I was 16, I am new to this dating lark and it is so confusing.

Always been flirty with a guy from work but past month or so we have swopped numbers and have seen each other out of work a few times. Told him im not ready for anything too serious so he suggested a casual relationship?

What exactly is this? I felt silly asking, do we see other people? do we act like a couple? or do we make our own rules? im confused about how I should be acting towards him
