Driving me crazy! Both my partner and I have incredible itchy lower legs in the evening! It's so weird. My cats and carpets are all treated against fleas and it's not eczema. We've not changed any powder/toiletries either, we use toiletries from green people that have no nasty chemicals in them and we use ecover laundry stuff. Just can't work out what it is. Driving me nuts though!

Me me me!! Happens to me at night too, normally when I go to bed but it's started earlier tonight. Seems to be heat related as I'm parked next to the radiator ATM and I get quite hot in bed
Probably not an allergy to all the flea chemicals, but I do know someone who started out this way and legs got worse and worse until she was diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome. Do see your doctor to eliminate anything serious.
Yes I get the same problem in winter. What works for me is stuff called aqueous cream, cheap as chips from your chemist. slather it on dry skin before bathing/ showering then rub under water and rinse off. Do not use soap of any kind on the itchy areas. If you do this in the bath be very careful as it makes baths and showers slippery.
Don't know if you may have considered this, but a lot of the staff used to have this problem in the carpeted area at work. The pest control people were called in and eliminated the fleas etc. It turned out that it was due to a build up of static in the carpet which made lower legs feel like they were being bitten and scratching required. Not sure how they fixed it (sorry!), but maybe this could be an answer??

Thanks all! I don't think it could be fleas as we are mostly laminated anyway! I'll work out the culprit eventually!
