weird book

Years ago, whilst babysitting, I read a book that had allsorts of weird anomalies in. Like women who were pregnant for years or at aged 5, periods from elbows etc Anyone have any idea what this book was and if any of it was true?

It sounds very much like a book I used to scare myself with at my grandparents house when I was a kid - it's called Arthur C Clarke's World of Strange Powers. It's full of stuff like Nuns wih stigmata & a bloke who 'gave birth' to his twin brother. In fact, I'd put money on this being the book!! You can still buy it used on amazon. Hope this helps!
