How far can a baby see at 3 weeks old?

A 3 week old will be able to see as far as the face of the person holding them - about 2 feet at the most. Farther away than that they will only be able to distinguish outlines.
Far enough for the little rugrat to regurgitate his last meal all over your new shirt!
A tiny baby like that can focus at about 12 - 18 inches. Like the rest of us, it should be able to seefor thousands of miles - I mean, we can all see the moon, can't we?
