I am applying for a job where I will need a crb check and I have been told that my immediate family will also have to be checked. My problem is 2 years ago my husband got very drunk and we argued and he pushed me. I got scared and called the police. Although I did not press charges he still had to go to court and was given 100 hours community service to do. Will this come up on the crb check?

If you still live together and are at the same address the answer is it probably will. However, you are entitled to explain the situation. If you are thinking of becoming a 'care giver' (new name for fostering) and he is going to be involved then you will probably be rejected.
