I ran over a pigeon yesterday, completely by accident - But feel really guilty as I never kill spiders or insects or anything.

dont feel bad, you were'nt to know.
treat yourself to a bar of chocolate, that always helps. lol
I can find you my grandmas recipe for pigeon pate if u like, in this recycle obsessed world why not?
Mr Tall, I've done that before! Feathers everywhere!!!!! I felt terrible!x
Anyone seen my pet pigeon he failed to come home yesterday?? Hope he's OK. :o(
Loads of wild rabbits, a few pheasants, a very sick pet rat, 4 or 5 cats (RTA), a gazillion flies. Probably some other stuff I've forgotten.

I wanna see Ratter's answer .... could run into several boxes, I reckon.
I'd feel awful too :(

I once found a baby rabbit with miximatosis, our dog was chasing it.

The poor little thing was too vulnerable to leave for foxes and such to come and tear it apart so my ex and his dad went out to shoot it to put it out of it's misery :(

Athley - Get a shovel and head for City rd, the Angel end just past the green clock. Sorry fella.

It was quick no flapping about.
It's scarcely a court-martial offence. Get plucking Baldrick !
I decapitated a duck once, on a very busy road. I cried when I got in. :'o(
Once hit a cat in a car with a carbon fibre front splitter. There wasn't much left am afraid.
Also had a seagull fly into the front grill of a car. Those things are huge and will make a ruddy mess of your front end, I think the gull came off worse though.
I'm gutted - but not as much as my pigeon ;o(
Ahh ...those poor little fluffy ducklings waiting for daddy to come home
A kamikaze hare once leapt in front of my car as I drove along country lanes in Lincolnshire.
LOL! Don't make me feel worse than I already do, naz! I think his bottom half may have made it home though, it was no where to be seen... :oS
Those poor fluffy ducklings.......I ran them over on the dual carriageway last year....

Looks like it's just Mummy on her own now....
I ran over a cat once. It didn't die immediately, but had to be euthanised later on ~ I was in floods of tears, but luckily the lady owner was very understanding (as well as upset). She said he often ran out in front of cars and she was waiting for this day to come!

I narrowly missed a Jack Russell the other day ~ he had a lead on, but ran out into the busy road. His owner was nowhere to be seen, and luckily he ran under my 4x4 safely...phew.

I have also ran over a freshly squashed fox (iin the dark, I might add). Thank goodness it was already dead, but it made a huge mess of my grill & windscreen.
Ah, I also re-ran over a badger once. It was a monster one and almost took my front bumper with it.
I have also 'had' loads of pheasants ~ where I used to live in the countryside, they were always leaping out in front of cars on the carriageway.

This way and that, squawking 'where shall I go'. Feathers in the grill ~ nice.
I forgot ... 2 lambs (RTA)

A 'funny' story ... I was talking to a guy in town and he was telling me how, ''the day before yesterday, someone ran over my cat, the front half was crawling on it's own, the back half just dragged behind'', I looked at him and said, '' was it black and white?''.

Yes ... I squidged his cat.

t would have been more humane to smack it in the face with ashovel, eh Athley?
