following on from my question the other day (how long after meeting did everyone get engaged and married) my boyfriend and i are currently having a really strange conversation over email and i cant work out whether i should be pleased or disappointed.

he said tht he is booking a holiday up with his mates to which i replied that it would be nice. i told him i wasn't keen on boys holidays because in the past i have been cheated on. however jus cuz of my insecurities id never stop him going.

he emailed me bak saying thats how he feels whenever im away with friends but he knows he can trust me and he hopes i trust him. he added on the end of the email 'anyway its ages away yet and things might have changed by then'. this confused me! considering he mentioned marriage and settling down last friday i initiailly got quite excited because thought that he was implying that things will get a bit more serious but now im thinkin otherwise. maybe he meant that we might b split up by then! i dont knw whether to be happy or upset cuz i cant work him out. its a bit of a difficult question to ask what he meant. i cant suss boys out for the life of me! x

So why not reply 'oh yes? And why do you say that?' or words to that effect and see what he says... you won't know if you don't ask.
Just ask him what he meant. I would...
You are very insecure..............If there is not trust in a relationship what is there! Saying things might changes yeah he might have meant he will not be with you or could have meant he might not end up going ask him
I read that as 'the lads holiday may not happen anyway'... ask him to clarify though... ;o)
I would guess that he means the holiday might fall through.
Do you usually crack jokes? Could say something along the lines of 'yes, I might have met and married a millionaire by then' - he'd then clarify. Not one to try if it's out of character though!
well... whats happened?
