A few months ago i gave my son (now 17 months) some scrambled eggs which resulted in a really bad reaction he went bright red with white raised lumps and was very itchy i took him to the doctors and they said it was an allergic reaction but wasnt 100% sure it was the egg so to keep trying him with it
i tried him again with egg yesterday and the same thing happened luckily i still had the cream for him
so it is obviously the egg whats causing it but why can he still eat things with eggs in like egg custards, cakes, yorkshire puddings any ideas?

iv had the same thing with my daughter!! for months we were trying to work out what was causing it fromdust to sun"!!!!then we took dairy products out of her diet and no more bumps!!
I had this with my daughter when she was about 18 months.. After testing I was told she was allergic to the "alumen(sp) in the white of the egg. Saying that, she's 24 now and is fine with eggs.
The same thing happened with my son. I just kept him off eggs for a while and tried him again and he is fine. He does have mild asthma now so I wonder if they are connected but he has been eating eggs for years with no ill-effect and he is 12 now.
