Assuming his personal hygiene skills are up to scratch (no pun intended!), perhaps he has some sort of fungal infection? Should see the doc.

try a trush cream like Cantesten, which is techincally for women. If he's too shy to ask for that, chemists own brand Anti fungal cream is the same but cheaper. My husband is waiting on "a jewish style" op & has to use the cream meantime. It wont do any harm & he tells me it helps if it's itchy.

Yes, maybe he's got thrush. There's a cream called Mycostatin which could help. Or maybe he's got Chlymidia (not sure on spelling) which can be treated with antibiotics. I had that once and had to drop my rods in front of the doctor. Very embarrassing, but glad I did it.

I will just add if you have a fungal itch just below the old man, lamisil spray is the best treatment. I go to a gym where the changing room is usually flooded from the showers and that's where you often pick it up. Relief in days, luckily!
