Is it true that regular use of St John's Wort can affect how well the contreceptive pill works? I know this to be true with antibiotics and the like, but I seem to remember hearing that St John's can influence it too. Thank you. xx

Yes it is true. St Johns Wort can stop the pill from working. Best advice is to stop taking the Wort. It's always worth consulting your GP or pharmacist though.

oh yes.... it also interacts with a whole shedload of other drugs...
