A man or woman who either has multimple relationships at the same time, has one night stands and breaks hearts at the same time.

How would you stop one if you needed to?

Would you talk to them, do something to them or what?

Why would you want to stop someone living their life the way they want to? If they're 'breaking hearts' by deception then obviously this is wrong. But I would just steer clear of them, I don't understand why you need to stop them. If they're doing it because they're insure or something, then you could try talking to them to find out why, but ultimately it's their choice. When they've worked it out for themselves, they'll stop.
i would leave them to it, they'll grow up in their own time. Just warn any of your friends not to get involved with him/her!

If you try to stop them doing it they may stop for a while but then rebel and it will be worse!
Live and let live
She wants to stop them cos she has been played :)
None of anyone's business but theirs I'm afraid. If you've been played as Mr Ben suggests, then just let go and move on and learn from the experience. If not then just leave well alone. Some people are happy living like that, and they either eventually outgrow it or in some cases don't, but in any event it's their life.

I would stay clear of those relationships if I found out that it seemed that way. I guess I got away before I got played. I was just thinking that this guy that I went out with a few times might be a palyer. Right before I broke it off he was bragging about sleeping with 30 girls in 1 year just in USA Oregon alone besides other countries that he came from and that he has bunches of women wanting him at the two night clubs that he goes to as a regular on weekends. Sometimes it takes a few dates or more to find out or that the player will reveal him self. Maybe he liked me enough to have a relationship but then again maybe he was just pretending to get sex, I don't know because I never slept with him. I was just stupid thinking that since we broke up I could tell him that most women want relationships and that he should reveal himself from the begining that he isnt ready for one like he should have done with me on our first date or even before we went out. This way I would have the option to be in control of choice.
Dear tatyanap,

Men who frequent nightclubs as regulars are generally players in my opinion. I believe they go to the clubs for the "variety". Not that there is anything wrong with that, necessarily. It's where he is right now on his road to growing up. Some of us girls do or have done the same. I do hope he is practicing safe sex, though. There is no guarantee that he is. And no way of knowing.

I have read the second part of your question too, and it sounds to me like you have a handle on this. I do understand your desire that all people be up front about things, but it isn't always practiced, although I personally agree that it should be. At least you are aware and you protected yourself with abstinance in the situation. So I probably don't have to remind you that you should always play it safe in encounters with romance -- which is not to say you should never have sex -- your sexuality is a valuable part of who you are -- but that you should continue to be discerning and engage safely , knowing what you know.
sounds to me like you have been very wise and should assure yourself with that knowledge. as other posters have said, its up to players if they wanna play. at least you maintained your respect. respect!

thanks everyone, I really understand now how it feels to be on both sides of a string. I gave it alot of thought and realized exactly how it felt to be played and how it felt to be a player. People live how ever they feel life should suit themselves in order to go on in life.
