this was a bit stupid of me, but i realised i had started the pills from day 21 instead of day 1, so i have taken it backwards for 2 weeks. will this mean it wont have worked?

As long as you take all 21 pills I don't think it really matters in which order, you should be ok.

I think they are just marked so that you know which day you're on. Just take all 21 and then have the 7 day break and you'll be fine.

Depends if its a standard or phased pill.
phased will be in 2/3 different colours.

if they are in 3 different colours, then you need to take them in the correct order for them to work.
