I have dark brown hair that I gradually had highlighted until it was a mid blonde shade.
Recently I decided to have my hair dyed back to brown, and I hate it!
I have had a few highlights added already, but as I am now constantly fed up, my question is....
Do blondes have more fun?
and
If anyone has gone from dark hair to blonde and then back again, did you stay dark or did you dye it back to blonde?

i have very dark brown hair and have it various shades including red, orange and blonde. I loved red...but hated blonde...it didn't suit me, and i didn't suit blonde.

i think it depends on how you feel about yourself and how you look - i never felt comfortable blonde...and i'm glad i went back to dark again - much more fun!! ;o)
hey hn! im a perfect example....i went every colour under the sun in years gone by...i look like ginger spice ...dont mean to but every where i go i get told that....anyway...been brunette, ginger, blonde....mixed....the lot....recently was very blond and now im light brown and to be honest./..and i qualify to say so....its like this....when you are blonde....like it or not...you get more attention from guys....when you are brunette, you dont..... i feel really dull just now but i really do think its the best colour for me...everyone agrees...but....then they saw a piccy of me blonde and now my friends are telling me to go there again....god knows what colour ill go next.....heeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllll[p!

So if I go blonde again will it be easier this time as the dark dye is a semi permenant rather than having to strip my natural colour. Or will I get that gingery inbetween stage?(assuming my hairdresser allows the trainee to do it!)
I think the ginger tone will be there. Over the years I`ve gone all shades we`re never happy. Have gone back to brown. Went blonde to hide the grey but didn`t know who I was when I looked in the mirror. Also have very dark eyes and wear a lot of eye makeup. Years ago I went out with two blonde cousins, only me got tapped up. I`ve had my share of fun over the years.
No. Naturally dirty blonde... apparenntly, consider myself more mousy.... Life what you make of it and has bu&&er all to do with your hair colour.
For me (and i stress 'me'), yes :0)

I am naturally a sort of mid-brown and had it dyed mostly red until i was about 28 as i thought it suited me.

One day i felt terribly adventurous and took the blonde plunge. NOT a tacky blonde, i hasten to add. I'm from Essex so felt the need to add that :-o

It's not all about getting chatted up by women/men in my case, but i simply FEEL more attractive and therefore appear more confident and therefore 'attractive'.

For some strange reason i went back to brunette suddenly and it was VILE! I looked ill. The darkness around my face made me look seriously old (i was only 32!) and i went back to blonde pretty damned quickly.

I LOVE the look of dark hair on others. I just wish i could carry it off. But i have pale skin and green/grey eyes so blonde suits me far more.

It's purely a confidence thing. If you don't like the dark - get light and enjoy it!!! (Keep the trainee away from it, though!)
i prefer brunnettes
i have recently gone blonde from being almost black , i feel more confident and attractive , couldnt go back to brunette I felt dull, even though I was often complimented on my hair and its colour, dont know if i get more attention but definitely prefer what I see in the mirror . It may be an esteem thing I dont know really but I am having more fun probably from the confidence boost. Who knows?
I'm a natural light blonde and my hair is usually long, but years ago I invested in a couple of funky wigs, both dark brown. One was long straight hair with a heavy fringe and looked lovely on, but I found I had to wear lots more make-up and even a different perfume to carry it off. It was very strange really because it was like being a different person. I found whenever I wore it that I got attention from a very different sort of man. Usually ones who took me more seriously!!

I also once had my hair cut into a gamine crop, and do you know I noticed most of all? I stopped getting wolf whistles from white van man when I walked down the street!!!! My hair was lovely, but at a distance I wasn't your stereotypical blonde anymore. I felt rather rejected actually. haha!
I am def happier blonde and get more attention for sure!! Brown made me feel more serious and grown up - just not ready for that yet!!
Sounds like some of you women like "getting attention". Who is giving this attention and why do you like it?

All I can say as a male is that while I don't know whether blonde women have more fun, I do know that I find brunettes and redheads MUCH cuter, sexier and more attractive, by a LONG WAY.

Champagne I'm not sure exactly what a gamine crop is but I think I like the sound of it. I generally love short hair on women.

China Doll - once again you're on the money.
Oh wow, that's gorgeous, I love that style.
