whats the difference between shower gel and bath gel? Dont say that one is for the bath and one is for the shower please. Why is shower gel twice as expensive as bath gel? Is it because twice as many of the public shower rather than bathe?

Shower gel has a hook on it
bath gel is for soaking in, shower gel is for soaping up?
Question Author
how are they chemically different?
Question Author
or is it all in the marketing, and they are the same?
i always use bath gel as shower gel, it lathers up really well and you get twic as much for your money. I have no odea of the chemical difference, but the practical difference is negligable
Bath gel is probably more concentrated and I think maybe putting it directly on the skin may irritate it but putting it in the bath will dilute it. I don't know why shower gel is more expensive...you're probably right that it is because more people shower. This would make sense as most things like this revolve around how much money/profit businesses can make & they'd make more profit & money from marking up a better selling product! :)
Its more or less the same stuff - you get "Bath and shower gel" in the body shop which I'm using at the minute
I use both regardless. I collect shower and bath gels and have at least 20 different ones. Avon (gorgeous saleslady!), Dove, Nivea, Body Shop, Tiffany, etc
