Have to pick some people up next Saturday - is there a special car park for short stay, or somewhere you can pull in to pick up people?

Yes but you can only stay 10 minutes or something like that for free and then have to pay.
Or you can just keep driving round until they come out of the terminal. If you stop to wait you'll be moved on.

Thanks dzug, I'll keep driving round! They should be ready for us anyway, as they will have been there a few hours by the time we arrive. Should have cleared customs by then!
Its 15 mins - It is situated at the end of the road where all the car parks are - Its the last car park in fact. You take a ticket and as long as you are out inside 15 mins it is free. But stay longer and the charges are quite steep so beware.

Many thanks - I wil make sure they are ready.
What I normally do is pull up somewhere near the Pink Elephant parking (Long Stay) or the Hilton and wait until they ring me from the terminal to say they are walking out. Then you can drive the couple of miles to the drop off/pick up point and be off swiftly.

With increased security around airports now you might get fed up driving around and around.

Change of plan - now picking them up at Cambridge railway station - any idea of the postcode or a shop or business near there, so I can get a route?
Just go to www.streetmap.co.uk put in Cambridge and the station will be one of the results

Probably more difficult for parking than Stansted though.

Thanks, will do that.
