Hi Smurfchops,

I used to work in a place that offered this... generally this procedure would be done by a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, and normally on a private basis.

The first step that i would recommend would be to contact your GP, explain the procedure your husband would like done, then he will refer you onto a private clinic to get this procedure done, at a cost of course.

As i am not sure wher you live, your GP, or even you, may know which NHS hospital has Plastic Surgeons working in it, that is near your home, you could also contact that hospital and ask what surgeons specialise in laser surgery and where they hold their private clinc, generally the NHS hospital. 9/10 you will find that the Surgeons that work within the NHS also hold private clinics.... hence then you would have the satisfaction of knowing that this would be a reputable surgeon to do this for you.

hope this helps.
your probably best to practice using the laser on something else just to get used to it..

I recommend giving him something to bite down on whilst your perform the proceedure...hope this helps!

Yes thank you, we have seen private surgeons before and of course I know we will have to pay, I wasn't sure how to get referred, whether it was through our GP or private recommendation - of course I am a bit wary of using someone without knowing anything about them. Thanks Neenee

wnjxc21 nice one, I am putting a plastic apron on and my washing up gloves, as we speak ...
Had this done in both eyes about 7 years ago, best move I ever made I was -5.25 in both eyes and now have 20/20. With the first eye I didn't rest and watched telly all night so was a bit sore, second eye I took the sleeping pill offered, went to bed and woke up with vision as clear as a bell.
Sorry maybe as clear as a bell would be better for hearing........
