Went out shopping to two local markets with my husband. Bought some ingredients to make scones. Came home, made scones, did some washing & drying. I've started a roast for my husband & son, they're both out, hubby at the City match, son watching United match in the pub. Poured myself a lager whilst watching the live dig at Buckingham Palace, then came on here for a browse. So whats everyone up to?

Travelled 12 miles to buy sourdough bread, unpasteurised Brie, Roquefort and a Crottin, came home, had lunch (salad veg from the garden, a slice of cold pork loin and a bit of the sour dough and a nice pot of green tea). Read the paper from cover to cover. Spent afternoon re-writing Governmental paper on hygiene, interpsersed with visits to AB, just about to go now and wrap up a gift to take to friends when we go there for supper tonight and waiting for my dear old boy to come home from his horrid day working at Lord's.
Kid's gone to Grandma's (for the night), been gone since 1.00pm, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the hamster out, walked the dog, been to tesco's, that's about it, and I have no other plans except to enjoy the peace and quiet, aaahhh!!!
nowt...but am now just about to go on the beer

joby 1 - ENJOY!
I am and it's a little, hard, mature goat's cheese, about an inch across, strong in taste, dry in texture and deeply delicious.
I will skyep, thanks :-))
Had a long lie in as i did too much yesterday, had a full English breakfast, went to Tescos (cos yesterday I took my daughter and she did her own shopping not mine.) , and spent an hour and a half directing my son and grandson to what i needed, whilst trying to avoid being knocked off my crutches by the ignorant people, I now know what it is like to be invisible. oh, and i hadn't realised that when you are on crutches YOU are the one who is in the way and has to move so that other people can see what is on the shelf, i have never felt so like a second class citizen..

I drive an automatic and so getting from a - b is fine, it's the struggle when i get there that is annoying. Oh and i parked in a tesco disabled bay, it was cool lol

then we went to get a new tyre, they are expensive.

now i am relaxing and resting my poor toes and tonight i am drinking quite heavily i predict. lol Oh and I might watch the new DVD we bought, Scary Movie 4.

Never heard of it before, we live & learn :0)
Dot - good evening :0)

If you are still there... do you know how long it will take for your toes to heal?

I have never damaged mine and know no one who has, either - so i am very curious!

Dot h - People can be horrible can't they! Will be going out later myself to buy some drink. Talking of films, remember the film Kes? Picked that up a few days ago, brilliant film. Also bought the dvd - top of the pops 40th anniversary - 1964 - 2004.
we went from school to watch Kes with our English class, the year it came out, 1969, my friend had a crush on dai bradley at the time, he went into The Flaxton Boys later on.

Fee i went to the hospital A & E outpatients yesterday for a follow up and they wanted to give me a 6 week sicknote but I cannot be off that long, so they gave me a 4 week note and hopefully by then they wil have healed, I have to see my doctor to be signed off in the last week, it is more painful now they are starting to heal, as the nerves are working and the swelling has gone down. : (

Dot H - Have you got one of those wheat bag thingies ,you can warm up in the microwave to put round your toes? Or does drink suffice! :0)
sky. I think the drink will most definately do lol
Well it was that time of year when i go shopping for school clothes. Walking round loads of shops until i end up at Asda and see sense and get cheap clothes that won't last 5 minutes( they never do any way even if you spend 30 on school shoes). Went home and somehow ended up buying a hamster! Not any ordinary cage,no, we have to buy one that has tubes and cages and is very similar in construction to the George Pompideu centre in Paris. Have only just finished putting it together(5 hours) and am now going to relax.
I have been to Luton to see my family, and now I am back in Shropshire.x
