Giving up with having a relationship

My only postings on here have been about my pathetic love life (apologies to all) (and a BIG thank you to all helped me) But I give up with men now. Why put so much energy and love into something, that "his work" now replaces so easily. Am I the only person who feels like this?

you should have developed your love of rubber earlier "dot my new mam".
i know at this time of night i'm head to toe in a losing battle with the WI, but how passionate is the other half about this job. i've posted on here before that i gave up the opportunity of an MSc and a job afterwards abroad to be with the lady i met over here, and still regret it.
its a no win situation, either he is happy at work and you're not, or you try and stop him from doing something he's passionate about.
if you can find a perfect solution let me know, because i couldnt.

Hi steviep... you are one of the ones I thanked for replying to me earlier, so hey, you have heard enough of my whinges.And you told me about your lost opportunity of working abroad. (i replied to that)
My ex....as from now, only got this job opportunity 3 weeks ago, in which time, he has handed his notice in on his flat (rented) job, and me! Well he wanted me to see him still. But on his terms......You can be happy at work and with your partner, but in my case, he is moving away.

Have a break maybe, but don't give up. There's a lid for every pot, you know. You just haven't found the right one yet. I'd given up on finding anybody worth spending my life with, years ago, but then I met someone, and now I can't imagine being without them. We've been together nearly 10 years now.
