Hi PatriciaH, I was thinking of today wondering how your bite is on your foot, is it feeling any better.

As I had posted in your thread that I also had been bitten, this morning after a sleepless night with it throbbing I managed to get to see my docter, as over night the bite had turned to a huge blister and was weeping. My docter said it was probably a horse fly which got me and that he'd had of lot of cases like this. He has given me ahtibiotics as its infected and antihistamines. I hope it does the business.

When I went into the chemist to get my prescription there was a woman there getting the same thing, her foot had been bitten too, so we are not alone!.........

Was just thinking the same, and feel such a fraud with my little toe (bite) against your more serious ones.

The anti-hists my GP prescribed, are like knockout drugs, I have had to stop taking them because all I wanted to do was sleep, its been that bad!!

Hi $~Jeep~$, Dont feel that you are a fraud every one is different and have different pain levels, I'm sure that your bite is giving you a lot of discomfort too. I have only had 1 antihistamine called " Loratadine " I felt really tired today too it might be a combination of lack of sleep, the hot wheather and maybe the tablet, but all I've done since 5pm till 9 was dozing in the chair with my foot up.

Hiya, i have just been bitten about 10 mins ago on my hand and it is itching like crazy!!!!!!!!!! i have left the doors open for the breeze and the lights full on, obviously something had flown in and decided to punich me!!!!!!!!

Aww thanks for thinking of me, awake a lot last night with the heat coming off my foot ! redness has calmed down but its still itchy, woke up with a stiff neck! i must be jinxed this week...still taking the antihystamines though :) and i was working today..
