I always think this question when I'm putting my contact lenses in - we're not supposed to pull the skin near our eyes because it's thin and will bag when we're old etc but people who put lenses in every day are pulling their eyelids and the skin underneath every which way!

Will all of us contact lenses wearers have big puffy baggy eyes when we're older?

This is a good one wilsarnie - as I am now 46 and have worn contact lenses since I was 14 - all the time, not just for a few hours a day. Many things are sagging around about me now, but the one area that I seem to be doing well in is my face. People often comment on the smoothness of my skin for a 40 odd year old and my eyes in particular I'm really proud of, as there is only the slightest hint of crows feet or bagginess. So it just goes to show that 30 years of pulling my eye skin around hasn't done it any harm. Hope that helps. Doll xx

Thanks Dollie! I can insert with pride!

Ps - What DO you put your good skin down to then? Maybe we can all get some hints...
I've always used soap and COLD water to wash my face., however, I have moisturised thoroughly since being in my early twenties. After turning 30 I started using a different moisturiser at night time when I went to bed, so always use a cheapie in the day under make-up and a slightly more expensive one at night - usually an olay night creme or Avon. Hope that helps Doll xx
