What causes those funny muscular twitches that can occur pretty much anywhere on your body and feel like blood pumping weirdly...? (I call them Alien Babies)

oooo I get those, if you look carefully sometimes you can see the throbbing!!! no idea if its nerves or muscle spasms or what.

Its directly related to tiredness, the more tired you are, the more likely it is to happen

There is a correct medical name for it, but I cant remember what it is! I'll ask my ma, she used to be a nurse, so she knows her stuff!
