Yes. See your gp as soon as possible. :)

When people get the Depo shot (birth control shot) there period is gone the hole time they are on the shot.. wich is 3 months out a time. And another way to change your period is to work out really really hard for 3-4 weeks.. Thats what happens to me when Im working out hard.. my period changes. Otherwise.. get some pain killers, drink your water and take Vitmain B6 to prevent water retention and cramping, and get some great tampons...lol.. It will be like its not even there!..

Good luck and enjoy your vactaion!!! Jenx

you can get a "delay Pill" from your doctor called norhisterone for such eventualities - dosent give you contraception, but does delay your period for an important event
the 'shot' doesn't always stop your periods. in many cases it does but it doesn't always so if you would be having the shot just for your periods and it does't work - its a bit of a waste really!
I wouldnt recommend "the shot" loads of women suffer at least spotting and regular bleeding with this. Get down your doctors and get on the pill and dont stop taking it till you get back (no break week, else you will bleed).
I have had my period on my holidays sine turning 13.I just put a plug in it and forget about it.You can still do everything you would normally want to do.
