Can anyone recommend a good facial cleansing product? I want something really deep cleansing, possibly some kind of scrub or light chemical product that will help blocked pores/blackheads etc. My skin is not bad, I am in my late 20's drink plenty of water and eat healthily, but would like something to use once a week/month for a bit of a boost/pamper, to ideally get really healthy looking skin.

I have really sensitive skin and found the best product to suit my skin and pocket is the neutragena range, they do all sorts of facial products and the daily facial scrub is pretty good. Its not too expensive either. On the more expensive front I had some elemis papaya enzyme peel bought for christmas, it is fantastic but costs a blooming fortune, you only use it twice a week though

hi,

there's this brilliant exfoliating towel from body shop you could buy Miss inquiry. its great cos theres no harsh chemicals that your applying on your face. i use mine when i'm having a bath and it really helps my skin as it takes off all the dry skin and helps it to glow.

you need to use it soaking wet though and very softly if you have sensitve skin and the maximum times you should use it is twice a week.it costs around 3.90 but it's really worth it you feel like you've got new skin.you should seriously try this.

oh and if you have one of them facial steamers then thats really good to use after you've had a bath and then moisturise really well after.do this once a week or every two weeks.there's one you could buy from boots under a tenner.

hope this helps

oh and it takes the blackheads from your nose too leaving it nice and soft. xx
I will repeat my cheap and cheerful skin routine again !

If you don't want to spend a lot of money try this....
Get some Boots cold cream or any old cream really. Boots is best because it has no lanolin and night and morning smear this on your face ..take a clean face flannel ...slightly rough (in other words don't use fabric softener on your flannels) wring it out in as hot a water as you can bear and remove all the cream. .Keep wetting and wringing the flannel out until all the cream is gone. Don't dab...rub gently in circular movements.Get a bottle of Witch Zingy Fresh Toner and cleanse your face again with this.
Use a fresh flannel everytime though and boil the used ones ! Do this for a couple of weeks and you will see a difference.
Not trying to sound boastful but I am 58 and still have good skin for my age and have been doing the cream and flannel routine for years.
Try Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish, which is a cream in a pump and then you take it off with a muslin cloth which you just squeeze out in hot water. If you think you still need a face scrub use Liz Earle face exfoliator. Try Liz Earle . com. It's a simple routine and I know thousands swear by it. You can't buy it in the shops. Well maybe if you live in London.
