Ah, you might know it as a hen night. yes, it's been lovely and peaceful. Our youngest daughter went to bed about 11 and our second youngest is in the front room with her boyfriend.
Don't really know Norfolk even though I've been to Great Yarmouth a few times and Norwich for a Boro match when I was about 18.

UK, it was my sons birthday today, and he was up at 4! I just pretended to be asleep!

We've got three girls, 20, (now has a flat with her BF), 18 next week and 16. I remember when ours used to be up every morning at about 7am. Tomorrow they won't stir till about 11or later! Don't worry, you will get a lie in when they get into their mid teens!!!
Question Author

I havent been to Great Yarmouth for years.......try to avoid it!

have 2 boys of 15 and 8,and girls of 7,6 and 4 and believe me have no qualms at getting us up at any time of the morning :)

I have 2 boys 16, 10 (today) girls 7 and 14...its just the 10 year old who gets up crack of dawn. Still trying to trained to make me a cuppa in bed!

Alice, we used to pretend to be asleep. One morning, they came into our room and told us what a lovely picnic they'd had.

We got downstairs and there was all sorts of food, (cereal, cakes, fizzy pop etc.) on the floor in the dining room. They'd even opened up a trifle and put birthday candles on it! (We never had any matches or lighters in the house so they weren't lit!) It looked so nice and they'd really enjoyed themselves in their little pyjamas feeding themselves and all their teddies and dolls. They'd even managed to put a great big pink food dye stain all over the carpet!!! They'd had such a lovely time we couldn't even shout at them, bless them. Make the most of them while they're tiny, I really really miss them being that age, even though they're great kids now!
