Ruby I hope your rabbit will be ok.. Has the vet said whats wrong with him?

Thanks Spk. The vet said there might be a blockage in her tummy which is causing her a lot of pain. She has completely stopped eating and drinking. The vet gave me some recovery food to feed her with a syringe and gave her 2 injections. They dont keep animals over night in that vets so I have to take her back tomorrow morning and they will keep her in and monitor her all day. I am so worried. I don't think she will make it through the night. She can bearly move. :o(

Hopefully he can give her something to clear the blockage or maybe do a little op in the morning- rabbits are pretty strong i have all my fingers and crossed toes for you. Try not to worry too much I know its hard though. Thinking of you Ruby you have had a challenging few weeks x

She got worse in the night and I took her to the vets this morning. He called me an hour later and said they were going to put her down. :o(

Oh Ruby - thats awful news.Did the vet say there was no hope??

Kazianne - The vet said she was suffering quite alot. Yesterday she was in a pretty bad way but the vets couldnt keep her over night as they have no night staff so I had to take her back this morning. She was in alot of pain and I think it had just gone to far! :o(
