NO. Because these products still allow oxygen to the scalp. One cause of baldness is wearing hats because they don't let your scalp breath. I also think it hinders the way the hair grows and that's another cause. For women, your hair can thin or even have hair loss quicker then others if you always wear your hair in a tight ponytail or bun.

I wouldn't have thought so.

I have used hair spray in my early years - wax & gel in the latter years - regularly use shampoo & conditioner, but have still got a head full of thick healthy hair.

Im 26 and I use so much. For example I have a dark short hairstyle like robbie williams but it requires a lot of moulding putty, which I call base 1, then small bits of hard glue gel to get flicky up bits on the top, base 2, then finally its wax at the very front to hold the fringe bit up base 3. Sounds an ordeal but dont take long when you get used to it. BUT!!!!!!! My hair was falling out so I was given advice to use hair styling products that contained an ingrediant called KERATIN AMINO ACIDS. I searched high and low and found Keraphix products, but good news is AVON actually do 2 hair styling products with a TRI-Keratin system, FOR MEN GEL & FOR MEN PUTTY. It means each time you use it, actually makes your hair stronger and resistant to snap with the strength of wax.

are you fat and have sticky out ears like mr williams?

Maybe some ladies can help with this one, but hair are dead strands of protein. So achieving healthy hair has to come from the inside out. Products that make hair healthy, is really false advertisement I believe. Products can make hair seem stronger, but I think that is only because it forms a bond or coating around the hair....and overtime that will make the hair unhealthy. Products can make hair silkier and smooth, but your hair won't GROW IN that way. So if you want healthy hair work from the outside in.

Im taking this question from a wax putty gel user, all 3 at once too.... that his question stems from the fact that when you use wax and put it through your hair - your hair snaps and comes out because its pretty tough to work through. In effect over usage means over snapping and lack of hair in places where wax is most used...i should know!! but its temporary and grows back. Using the keratin enhanced products helped my hair stay in, stronger, thicker and less resistant to come out with rubbing wax through it.

No im not fat with big ears...lol quite the opposite. 26yr old toned male 40chest, 32waist, slight facial hair shaved short, brown eyes and super fantastic great wonderful hair!
