Does anyone know of a doctor who ended up marrying his/her patient. Reason I'm asking is that the other week in the hospital I witnessed a female patient doing her absolute utmost to get the doctor to not be interested in her just medically. It was quite a performance. Believe me she was out to get him. so once again does anyone know or are there any statistics on this.

Yes - there was a storyline about this on Eastenders last year in fact. They are legally allowed to get "romantically entwined" as long as the patient immediately switches doctors (though this not always happens straight away!)
