Sorry folks, but this is not linked to my question below - honest. But as I was adopted as a baby, I did know my realy father and mother. I was never raised by them, I knew when my father died but was not allowed to go his funeral, therefore I need to know if he was buried or cremated, how can I find this out ? I have looked up the details on 1837.com and the reference details are 'District: Rushcliffe / Vol: 8 / Page1131'

Any help would be fantastic,

Thanks in advance.... x

That would be for the death certificate which would be issued before the funeral so it would not have details of where he was buried/cremated. If you do not have contact with anyone who was at the funeral then possibly you could check his obituary in the local paper which would possibly have funeral details. A library near to where he died would be able to point you in the right direction for where to look up old editions of the local paper.
Local Council keeps burial and cremation records - They will provide you with infor you require
