For the last 3/4 weeks my right foot has been itchy (right at the instep).

Today not only is it itchy but my foot feels really hot (not to touch)

On inspection there is no cuts, spots ANY indication that there is anything to cause this. My sugar levels are decent 4-12 most days.  No changes in laundry, footwear etc.

Neuropathy crossed my mind but I don't know I'm not on any pain. Any ideas? Should I go see my GP?

Bit of a swing queenie my love.

I cannot think of a better diagnosis than yours of diabetic peripheral neuropathy........a good shout.

Wait and see what happens for a couple of weeks....it will either go OR not go or get worse, in which case go to yor GP

Thank you Sqad. I'm usually 10/11/12 post meal but drop back down to normal after. We've just changed my insulin a few months ago. But I'm doing miles better than before.
Thank you though for the advice I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens and make the appropriate choice.
