Scary people, scary dogs. The scene with the little girl hiding behind the car made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Horrible

I didn't watch it, but I will say that I personally know two lovely 'bullies', the only injury you would get from them is being knocked over in their exuberance to welcome you and to let you know that you are the best thing since sliced bread! I do however accept that some owners are pure scum who want a big dog to intimidate others and have very little respect or care for the animal. Therefore, humans to blame again, I'm afraid.
I know someone who has just got one of those dogs. A woman with a 9 year old son. They live in a 2 bedroom high rise flat. Crazy!!
^ Totally agree. These dogs need space and exercise. If this dog snaps everybody will sympathise with the senseless owner. I despair of the human race at times!
I won’t sympathise. I think she’s barmy. Only people who need to make themselves look tough or flash have dogs like that.
Apologies if this was shown on another Panorama documentary. Equally upsetting;

Eight-month-old American bully, called Keanu, is a new extreme mixed-breed bulldog but instead of being a 'perfect dog' he has painful deformities. Disfigured front paws.
I can only reiterate zebu, I despair of the human race at times - poor dog.
Question Author
Yes, the showed some dogs with the most dreadful deformities.
I am referring specifically to the dogs I saw on the programme, I'm sure there are many friendly dogs of this breeds - but these breeders on the show are not breeding family pets.
So, you are surely not blaming the dogs then barry?
Apparently Bully XLs killed six people last year.
they are extremely strong animals… even if they are well cared for i am not convinced that a normal person is capable of controlling a dog like that…

they are not safe to own and they are extremely unhealthy
Question Author
I am not blaming the dogs, it is the breeders that are breeding deformed dogs, the trainers/owners that are turning dogs in to monsters.
I would trust a large dog over a lapdog any day but the potential for harm is far greater if attacked by a heavy, muscular, angry big dog.

My dog ( speyed lavvy ***) can pull me across the road. I marvel at it each time. Two other dogs that live near me, pull their owners around. ( usually to say hello to each other )

I thought everyone knew that drug dealers have dog attachments. - gold bling etc, sort of goes with the er deal
