A couple of days ago I chipped a bottom right back tooth(I can’t even see it!) but, my tongue rubs against it every time I talk, drink, you name it, to the point that I now have a raw wound on the right side of my tongue which is so painful that I can’t eat anything. (It’s a fabulous diet lol). I’ve been gargling with warm salt water, and putting anesol on it, but is there anything I can put on it as the pain is dreadful. It’s just one of those things that you can’t rest………

Must be very irritating. Why don't you go to a dentist and get it seen to ? Your tongue will soon heal once it's fixed.
What is that stuff you're putting on it?
Short term get some of that wax that folk put on their dental braces or even a piece of sugar-free gum and place it on the tooth until you see a dentist.
You can buy kits to fix fillings temporarily. Try your local pharmacy.
uh, yes, if it's Anusol it's in the wrong place
Just checked. Amazon do them too.
That's what I was thinking, jno. Strange place to put that!
Anusol?........
I can imagine how painful that must be and I would suggest getting some Bonjela gel from the pharmacy and apply it to your lesion, 3-4 times a day before meals.

If the pain is really difficult to deal with then add Ibuprofen 400mgms as is appropriate.

Can’t get into a dentist - I’ve tried. This Anusol is meant to be pain relief - you dab it on. Stings like ……..
Are you sure it's not Anbesol? Anusol is for piles
Continue the Anusol until you can get to the pharmacy.
sqad, she said anesol not anusol :0)
Khandro........she means Anusol..;-)

Apologies! Just checked the box and it’s called ANBESOL
That's what I thought!
elliemay.......apologies, you were correct.
My dentist does not recommend this but when this happened to me, I carefully filed the sharp edge with a metal nail file. It worked in the short term.

but that's for a different orifice ! :0)
Indeed it is Khandro............
