i have a food shop coming between 8-9am then will see how the day pans out. I do have to phone the surgery early on, mustn't forget.

Today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 16c with light rain.

Good morning all. I woke at silly o'clock this morning. Whenever I have a terrific night's sleep it is invariably followed by a not-so-good night's sleep.

My first day back in the office today for nearly two weeks. At least it's Friday and we don't get bothered too much on a Friday.

Any nice plans for the weekend? None here for me except for work. OH is off out tomorrow night with his mates. Methinks he'll be back early as he's still not his normal self following COVID and he's like me, a bit of a lightweight these days.

meeting up with a friend for coffee on sunday afternoon, no plans other than that.

It'll be nice to get out and meet up with someone. I might text my friend who's on sick leave and see what she's up to. Her granddaughter is the same age as Moules and she did suggest meeting for breakfast one Sunday and bringing the kids.

I had a scintillating win on the lottery last night - £5. I've bought two lucky dips for tonight. One can dream...

Morning all. Exciting day for me, COPD and diabetic review with the GP nurse.

Totally unnecessary as my blood sugars have been normal without meds for some years now and there is nothing more they can for the COPD, which sounds much worse than it is.

I do believe the surgery gets paid for these reviews though, so we go through the motions.
And I get to talk about myself :D
