I have just realised that being a night owl means my circadian rhythm might be the reason that I prefer night to day because I have always been tired during the day and had more energy from evenings through to early morning. My mental abilities too are much sharper at night. My son is the same, and always had been.

I avoid morning appointments because they really are a struggle. It can be a real problem.I also get a better quality of sleep during the day. I actually love darkness too and find it comforting.

Fortunately my husband doesn't need lot of sleep and we are often up and about when others have been tucked up for hours.

Are their any other ABers who are like this?

Ha ha Tony. I did a similar thing to MrT. Locked him out in the nuddy. He annoyed me and we had drunk a fair amount. It was in my parents house. They were on holiday.
Oh Tony...the image I have just now is hilarious.... won't sleep for giggling...x
Hang on, do you gals know my old girlfriend :-)

Tut Tut Tut bloody women

I’d rather take my chances with bears than seeing a naked Mr.AV knocking about
Oi ya cheeky git ^^^^^^^^

Could see the floodlights at Villa Park where I was parked up, Arky.
Oh I don't know if I agree, Arky....I've met Tony....apart from the episode with the wasp he's....... ;-)
MrG and I used to skinny dip in our pool at night. New neighbours fitted a massive security light. Lit up the whole neighbourhood. Daylight looked dim in comparison.
I got out of the pool, wrapped up in a towel and took MrG's towel away. He had to run up a long garden starkers with the neighbours and the folk in the retirement home at the bottom of our garden watching. I can be a bit mean at times.... :-)
oh gawd, I'd forgotten about that wasp.

LOL, bet he was faster than Usain Bolt.

He'd have left Bolt standing that night, Tony. :-)
LOL, I would have done as well.
Blokes can't sit to pee, it'll dangle in the water.
Oh do stop bragging, Canary! ;-)
Very true, Canary ;-)
I think you just need to move to Sydney. You'd be perfectly in synch with daytime British ABers (if you want to be).
Am still laughing at Tony’s comments lol!!
Early to bed person, sleep is around 8-9 hours straight through , bed by 10 usually, if not sooner

In some ways Bobbi I envy you for sleeping that length of time without waking whether night or day. I am such a light sleeper. I never wake feeling refreshed. Last night I went to bed at 02.45,woke at O4.00 and then about 7.00 and then 10.45 and I'm still in bed!! I just feel happier and more relaxed in the dark, quiet hours. I left MrT reading downstsirs when I went to bed. He rarely goes to bed before me. He's been up since
7.00!
Mr B is a light sleeper going to bed about 1am and getting up at 6am or before, that would kill me :0/
