Loving this warm weather, sorry it’s got to end
I could get used to it and could imagine going to those beautiful Northumberland coasts, no need to go abroad

I've reverted to continental living patterns. The house is keeping cool by following the sun around and blocking it as it goes and I was out all morning until 1.00p.m.; then light lunch; then siesta until 5 p.m..Now both dined and relaxing and I'll go to bed later. Love it!

Perhaps if it was still 28C outside and your bedrooms were 29C, with no breeze - you wouldn't love it quite so much.

The room that I'm sitting in now while on the computer reads 27, but I'm sitting directly under a large 5-blade ceiling fan and it feels great. I haven't even considered putting on the a/c.

Hi Patsy, I agree, places I’d love to go is the SW, never been there, Norfolk , not been there , been to many places but if the weather was right, I’d like to go to the places here in the UK I haven’t been to

Bobbisox - I seem to remember that you're up north where it's considerably cooler than where I am (down south). Today has been unbearable and I have no idea how sleep is even possible tonight. I love the sun but not this much!

Been on a beach north of Bude today. It was flipping hot - the wind was hot. Apparently it will be hottest up North tomorrow.

I lived in the Middle East for a while and couldn't get on with the ceiling fans. As a result I never turned them on.
Surely they just bring the hot air back down again.
