What Are These Marks On My Dad"S Skin?

I bath my 78 year old dad from 2 days to more than a week. Depending on how he is feeling for it when I have time to do it during the day. I've learned the hard way to never force him to do something he doesn't want to do.

During his latest bath I noticed these sore like marks on his skin there located between his abdomen area and his genital area. Can I get more info on what they are?

Google shingles and see if that could be the problem.

Another thought. Could it be an allergic reaction to metal on the inside of his trouser fastening?

Thanks for the photograph, but......how long have they been there, is it itchy and in the blisters, are they white or yellow (fluid or pus).

Doesn't look like shingles or sound like shingles......it is almost certainly a fungus infection.

Lamisil ointment will cure it.
