Hope you don't mind me asking, for the last few nights I've had bad sleep only getting between 4-5 hours, waking up with a sickly feelings and palpitations, took my bp several times, averaging 138/83 I called my gp this morn, practitioner nurse called back. She says nothing to worry about, probably a bug and bp is normal! It seems high to me but she says she is a cardiac nurse and it is fine. Any thoughts?

I had a call with my GP last week. I measured my BP at 139/79 - she said that was OK. (I take ramipril & amlodipine)
Morning Dagman, no problem at all.
What medication are you taking and what is you pulse rate?
I assume that these palpitations do not imply chest pain.

Sorry if I take a little time to answer but I am going for my shower now -;)
