What would you get them to do?? This chat came up with Mr Smow as he genuinely offered it to help me whilst in my incapacitated state, bless him. Am not going to, but if I did I guess mine would be a combination of ironing, changing beds, and prepping dinner if poss.
Anything specific you’d love help with??

hoovering/dusting. Occasional bed changing.
Ironing, cleaning the bathroom and changing the bed
damp dusting & cleaning the bathroom.
Think you are all confusing 'cleaner' with 'maid' or even 'slave'. My niece cleans at a few properties but i don't think she does ironing, bedding changes and meal prepping. She is a 'cleaner'. The clue is in the job description:-)
if she refuses to change the bed she can spend her hour polishing the silverware.
I'd want my kitchen and bathroom given a thorough clean once or twice a week...I'd wipe down the other days. Also hoovering top to bottom.
Would a cleaner help me deal with accumulated *stuff*...sorting for charity and binning the rest?
Dusting, bathroom, mopping and vacuuming. I can do all other things.

Ken - ok rephrase it to ‘home help’ then. As I said - it’s just for fun!
Yeah, Smow, that's why i ended with a smiley face instead of an exclamation mark :-)
Cleaning out the grate - we both love wood fires, but loathe the next day cleaning.

Windows - outside and in - I keep having to hide the big ladders to stop gness doing the upstairs.

must be really big ladders . . .
Anything. I'd just be grateful for any help.
I don't think I need my bottom hoovering, pasta, but the rest would be ok.
Cleaning the kitchen, toilet and bathroom, and taking out the recycling. I had a cleaner for a while, just a couple of hours on a friday, it was so nice not to have precious time tied up with housework.

I know Ken lol.
Seriously, I’d love someone to help but I know what I’m like - I’d end up cleaning before they turned up!!
We used to have a cleaner/help for a couple of days a week, problem was the wife didnt like having other people in the house. Same for the au pairs.

They generally did hoovering the 4 bogs the showers/bath/bidet, kitchen. If they were a bit sort then the chandeliers etc.
I do have a cleaning lady (she came with Husband when I moved in to his home) but I wouldn’t ask her to do the things I really want her to do, like clean the oven and the fridge.
The stilettos help, Ael. Don't know why Dave thinks I hate cleaning the grate...it's very satisfying but as I've just come home and he's done it for the first time I won't tell him...love to see him on his knees.... :-)
thought i'd got away with that one ;-)

Windows inside and outside.
