Every year that passes I seem to become more intolerant to hot weather.
All week I have felt like a wet lettuce, no energy and really really tired.
Some days I can't even be bothered to eat although I am drinking plenty.
Does the weather affect you or do you love it?

Doesn't affect me in any way.
Haven't had a hot meal all week - salad or sandwiches. That's how it affects me. Determined to have something hot tonight - getting a tad sick of leaves and stuff :-)
I don't like the heat. Sweating like a wotsit in bed, taken to lying on a bath sheet to dry off. Past times I used to spend a lot more time outdoors, maybe I acclimatised better.
Extreme heat combined with high humidity makes breating difficult for people like me who have COPD.
Yes, it affects me more and more. Can't stand the humidity and feel faint at times. Constantly drinking water and all I want to do is sit at home with the fan on !!
This weather does yes, I tend to get headaches and lethargy but that could be the lack of sleep that normally goes with this weather, I also struggle with cold weather, I feel I have to eat more in the winter to try and keep my body warm as no amount of gloves and jumpers seem to help much.
Not really but I do find I stay in a lot , I’m not a sun bather anyway but the sun does catch me as I’m quite dark skinned,I sat outside a couple of days last week and I’m tanned already but I’ve stayed out of it this week
I've never got on with the heat. I haven't had a decent sleep for ages (not surprising when the indoor temp at midnight is 30), appetite's down & I feel completely wrung out. I hate this weather.
Hate it. The only time I enjoy hot weather is on holiday by the sea....at least there is a breeze, a pool, and the sea to jump into.
Our summer's are getting more and more humid. You can guarantee if a hot spell is coming, it will include lots of humidity ! I don't remember all this humidity years ago, just lovely warm days with a gentle breeze for a normal summer. Others I speak to about it say the same. I dread the summer now (unless on a break when you feel differently anyway) and always look forward to the autumn ...

We are such a strange Nation.
When it's cold we want it to be warmer, then when that happens, we wish it was cooler.
I have 2 fans in every room. 1 tower and 1 desktop, and although I leave one on in the bedroom all night, I still can't sleep.
Could do with going to the shops, but just can't face it.
Autumn is my favourite time of the year , I love the colours Shirley x
I used to feel very comfortable at 26 - 28C, but now I'm finding that 24C is too much. Don't know if it affects my health (except that I drink a lot more and visit the loo more often, even at night), but I am lethargic and the other day I went to bed at 2.00 p.m. and slept for 2 hrs. Of course, I was full of energy at 11 p.m.. :(
And I like that autumnal nip in the air Bobbs, you can smell it !
It disrupts my sleep patterns for sure.
If we all had aircon we wouldn't moan....it's not really worth the investment though.

I've seriously thought about a proper unit for the bedroom - about £1200 I reckon.
Yes.Dave, which we'll use for about 3 weeks of the year.
Global warming becomes global scorching but still the 4Ds prevent any attempt to stop it.

One thing is certain, with the increasing desertification of the Earth there will be more and more sand for them to stick their heads into.
Nothing to do with health but just been up to the local shop and their AC has broken down. All the fridges and freezers are set to max chill and it's still that hot inside all the girls are sat out side as it's to hot to stop inside for any length of time. They've been told the AC repair people are that busy that the earliest they can get is Tuesday,so John the owner is on about closing down for a couple of day and shifting stock to his other shops
