My eyes are blue, but around the edge of the pupils I've always had lots of flecks of brown. I've noticed recently that the brown has completely disappeared, and the blue has lightened considerably!

Is this normal?

my eyes used to be hazel, but they are now green with a thin line of hazel round the pupil.

I have heard that you can change your eye colour over time by the power of the mind and have heard of people who say they have done it and had pics to prove it, but who knows - i guess if mine just changed, who's to say theirs didn't too. (though I did always want green eyes...)

Your eyes are lightening- which is losing the pigmentation. This is the equivalent of us losing the pigment in our hair and therefore going grey. BUT I don't know if there is a medical reason for this. My dog's eyes went from brown to blue but he was very old and was going blind- not in your case I am sure! But maybe best get a medical opinion from your doc?

Try this one cap, my sister, who in anyones book is a very pretty young lady, has one eye that is blue, and one that is brown.
I used to have bright blue eyes when I was younger, but from the age of about 13 they turned green! Nobody ever believes me, so I have to get the photos out to prove it!
My mum went the opposite way, she used to have green and now has blue eyes!
