No parade yesterday due to torrential rain. But I did pay homage to my brother and his friends murdered in Aden in the 1960's And three friends murdered in Northern Ireland in the 1970's.
I'll never know why I survived and they didn't.

What today holds I have no idea, I'll find out no doubt.

still have this bug, flu or whatever it is, it's holding on that's for sure
wish i could sleep through the night, took naproxine, and night nurse to no avail.

i watched both the Remembrance festival on BBC i player and yesterdays service at the Cenotaph

i have to pick up my glasses from specsavers later on, will see how i feel as it's not urgent they are only for reading.
