My lovely 81 yr old sister in law has just whattsapt me with a photo of her taken at her dining room table in full evening dress ( red)with a glass of champagne in her hand and a caption saying

“ Sick of slobbing around so we have both got dressed for dinner tonight, hope you’re both well””
She is the most amazing person I know ( well apart from her brother ;0))

She’s lovely Rosie ,stunning for her age and very young at heart
We usually go out for a drink on a Friday so got 'dolled' up last night and watched a film -felt so much better to get some makeup on and do my hair it really does make you feel better
Funnily enough, I put on make up, got changed and spritzed the perfume just to go to Sainsbury's, tonight.
So did I Tills.....and I cut my toe nails. :))
It's good to feel good.

I've slapped on some macassar, blancoed my spats, waxed my 'tache and brushed my top hat to perfection.

I'm quite the dashing young cove.

That's a nice thing to do. Might try that, getting fed up of slobbering around.
I take my personal care tips from the experts on The Antiques Roadshow.

They insist that too much buffing can devalue anything.
I do the same with the Repair Shop Douglas.
