Hairdresser.

My wife and I live in N. Cambs. My wife's hairdresser is in Torquay!
I think that she needs her head looking at, not her hair! Any thoughts?

Last Jan. she disappeared and I heard that she had set up her own salon - but her original place would not tell me. My hair was nicely half-way down my shoulders until last week, when I got a tip-off and found her! A hairdresser is a serious business! Torquay is a long way though. I suggest she asks people with similar hair-types about their more local hairdresser. That's what I did ( but it was going to be a long, long way back to the Vienne to visit Angelique. :( )
I put high value on a good hairdresser so I know where she's coming from. However that is rather a long journey Mex so I get where you're coming from as well. When I moved too far away from mine, I looked around my new area and there were 5 hairdressers in the centre. All but one had special offers on to attract customers, so I chose the one that didn't and I was right. Perhaps your wife could give its try. Good luck.
I didn't tell you the whole story earlier! We used to live in Torquay and have many friends there. My wife uses the hairdresser excuse as a reason for a 3/4 day break a few times a year.
The hairdresser is an old friend. He says that he's not really gay, he just helps at the weekend when they are busy!

Bobbisox - I found going silver very easy...… I stopped colouring my hair! I occasionally use (perhaps twice a month) a 'silver' shampoo, which brightens the hair. Hairdresser agrees that it can be drying if used all the time, so you need loads of 'silver' conditioner. This may be what your hairdresser meant. Mine was correct when she said that because I had a little red in my hair I would go silver rather than grey. I'm quite pleased that I am now about the same colour as my elder daughter - and she pays a fortune for the same effect!
