Tuesday, New Years Eve.
Wall to wall cloud outside again. Still; downhill to summer now :o}
Not a lot to do today, so mount ironing might finally get done. We shall see.
Have a happy day everyone.

morning boaty, mount ironing will be a ten pint one if you aren't going to get it done soon.
Good morning, up with a pain in my upper leg , must be all the walking we did around Holy Island on Sunday :0)
And Berwick and Seahouses the rest of the time,but it was worth it, no pain, no gain eh?
morning Bobbi

Morning emmie xxx You're right! It will get done today. It's all but impossible when snowflake is here. I'd have to shut her out in the garden, fine in summer, but not at this time of year.
that is true, sounds like you had a wonderful time, i haven;t been there but it's beautiful from what you said.
well you can put on some music or the radio and while away an hour or so getting it done..
Question Author
Morning bobbi xxx Worth it for the lovely views isn't it?
Question Author
I do that emmie. :o}
mount ironing doesn't get done in my home, i just can't get upset over a few not ironed items, most of what i have doesn't need to be pressed, just washed and hang in the airing cupboard..
Question Author
Old habits die hard emmie. Shirts must be ironed. I have two hand made Irish lawn table cloths, one of which was used when friends were here a few days ago, they need ironing.
Question Author
The airing cupboard doesn't have a rail, just slat shelves for bedding and towels.
if you mean Irish Linen i know they need ironing, it's why i only use place mats now for dining..
The views were tremendous and the weather unseasonably mild for this time of year, my job this morning is to look at our accounts and see what savings can be made, I do this periodically and it’s surprising where I find savings can be made , for example, I love music so I pay Amazon Prime £7-99 per month till realising I’ve got friends and family Spotify for nothing
( OH ) he’s so kind, lol
Then the book I’m involved in, I pay a subscription each month for Microsoft Word so I bought a years subscription with an Amazon gift voucher I was given, Boom! £15 savings straight away
that's a nuisance then, I couldn't do without my cupboard, place item on hangers and then put into airer..
Bobbi, worth doing that's for sure.
Question Author
I only use them when I have visitors emmie.
i am doing nowt for NY how about you two, are you going to have a party or be like me, have a quiet one, perhaps catch up on some tv, and be in bed at a reasonable hour.
Question Author
Once ironed shirts trousers etc. go on hangers in the wardrobes.
Question Author
I shall be in bed long before the nonsense starts!
boaty, i do have one and it's lovely but i find that i have no need to dig it out, as i have rather nice John Lewis material place mats.. besides i don't think i could iron the tablecloth as it;s too big..
