Only the aBBC could turn the perpetrators of Climategate into the heroes. And give them 95+% of the airtime. It was an ad for Global Warming.
Shouldn't have been too surprised. Their Last programme on it was subtitled 'When sceptics tricked the public'. Lol.

Come on ummm, you must know that if you dare disagree with Spicy on anything, you're anti-British!
I didn't know that. I can't say I've noticed the BBC being biased.

I thought it would be about falsifying data, on something that was true. you know like 'you didnt need to do that, the conclusion was valid anyway'

but it was about a temp graph ( = showing obvious sustained rise) which looked a litte like an umbrella handle - dipette at the end

hereafter 'the decline'

and some silly fella - ok prof of global warming - who wanted to make it simple for people like AB posters and wished therefore to 'hide the decline'

silly Billy - out of it academic - and used those words: hide the decline

and someone ( who den? ) hacked his computer and oops found [quite by chance honest] the emails and published them..

egg on face of out-of-it academic

now over the age of 70 (me) quite a lot of the time I now dont wipe the tears of embarrassment and mortification away saying "there there never mind - soon forgotten !"
but instead, I say
'you did this to yourself you know'
more sighs, tears and screams like they were VE Bott,
and never a world weary 'yes I know' along with aa change of behaviour. Nooooo they are at the same little tricks a few weeks later.....

I thought he was just an ordinary professor and one day woke up egged on by his wife perhaps and said, " I know ! I will be professor of my very own Climate Research Unit (*)!" (**)
and he was !
and then he found when he stuck his toe out into the real cold world out there, it could be Very Rough Indeed.

so tough that he couldnt talk about it ten years later and instead cried.
yes a grown man. I bet he cried as much when he threw out undergrads for slacking.

so the prof had talked loose and wrote loose and didn't expect someone who didnt like him to take an advantage of all that loose talk
well ho de ho de ho!

(*) unlike for example Hawking who took up professorship that hid been established for 500 y

(**) having spent 35 y amongst academics not of the highest water who took frequent time out to stress to me that I was no where near an academic of the highest .....
(blimey second class braynes with second class ideas)
