I have heard that worrying about things can cause stress related illness.

Should I be concerned by this?

My stress causes me to worry. And worrying is stressful. Vicious.

It seems like a very vicious cycle...very worrying.

Yes. My friend suffered a brain heomarrage from worrying too much and getting stressed about it, luckily she is ok now but has a completely different attitude to life which is a good thing. Go see your doctor if you are concerned and good luck!
I used to worry about everything. If I didn't have anything to worry about, then I would worry that I had forgotten something I should be worrying about if that makes sense. Now I try not to let things bother me too much as I am sure it is not good for you, and some things you can't do anything about.
