Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. Yesterday was warm and sunny. I got two loads of washing on the line! Also got some plants sorted out in the garden ,they will probably die. Such is life. I haven't been out yet, so no idea what it's like this morning. No idea what today will bring. We shall see. It depends on the weather.

Morning Boaty. Feeling better today thank goodness. Have checked in online for flight home. OH's has worked, but mine has 'failed' for some reason! Maybe they'll say I'll have to stay here!

Have you tried talking to the plants to buck their ideas up?

My Vera was the gardener. She could stick a dead twig in the ground and it would grow, I walk past a thriving plant and it wilts!
My domain is the kitchen. Vera was an excellent cook, but she didn't particularly enjoy cooking. I do, I like experimenting. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Have to say neither of us are green-fingered, though I do try to keep a nice lawn. The rest of the garden is shrubbery all around. I call it Fifty shades of green.

Have you seen Minty's post View from a Room on Chatterbank? Seems she's having a good time.

Yep. Tried that, they take no notice whatsoever!

I'll have a look, see if I can find minty's post. She will be enjoying herself right enough.

'morning all, just popped down to let the dogs out, they were wimping, I think the Fantastic Mr Fox may have been around again by the way they shot off down the garden.
Looks like it could be a decent day, clear and still atm, fingers crossed.

Good morning everyone, I'm sat listening to the thunderous Storm Irene blowing over me as it's named by the Portugese met office, I't;s been one eck of a night, I thought the slates were gonna blow from the roof
Yesterday was cool and breezy but the afternoon turned sinister and was only a time for an early night,.
How are you all today? is it too early to ask?
I did my bit of gardening last week when I got the chance, cutting the lawn, weeding and the like, I don't think I have green fingers but I persist and it looks nice :) my sis comes home and she has the green fingers, she's great in the garden and the kitchen come to think of it, I can cook, like the tv show, can cook, won't cook-in saying that, I'm awake all night so have a nice ham on at the moment for dinner later, I'll put in oven later with a cider bath and glaze with brown sugar and mustard, it's awful, only after six am and I'm drooling over my dinner, breakfast not long down me :)

Lovely here Boaty..tide is in and lapping against the wall beneath the lounge window...sea quite calm and the birds are swooping... Very relaxing

Oh I'm having a blast Boaty, I am so wide awake with this storm, seems to be calming a little at the moment, I just hope I keep awake for the day - feeling tired now that I have the lappy on, think I'm gonna need some of these booster drinks or something now.
I've been watching the Question Jury on 4, it never really took off, I'm only watching it the past few weeks, sleep not great so kind of got hooked on it, I reckon if it was on in middle of the day, I'd have no interest in it

Ducksie am in lower large in the east neck of Five, a wee village linked to Robinson Crusoe through Alexander Selkirk, a mariner that was stranded for 4 years on an island in real life...book was based on him...right on the sea wall in a very old hotel

ducksie, that's why I'm on here so early. Woke up at 0300.
I've done two loads of washing I was hoping will go on the line. Not going to happen because of the weather! So it'll be on the airer in the office, that's the second bedroom so it looks like indoor work today.
