Cancelled Lunch.

Should have gone for five course Xmas lunch today with six other friends.
Six of us couldn't get out. The land lady rang to say they had no power, completely cut off and a tree was down on their lane.
Such a shame as they have been fully booked up to Christmas for months.
I feel so sorry for them it must cost them a fortune in lost orders.
We still have up to eight inches all round us. Cannot get the car off the drive at all.

No snow here. Slush this morning for twenty minutes but otherwise forecast rain rain and more rain.

We had a light sprinkling here yesterday but the roads all remained clear. We had a few more flakes today but not really enough to build a snowman.

Such a shame Caran for all concerned. Hope you have plenty of supplies in? We have had no snow here in Fife just clear blue skies and minus 4!

Thanks for asking Chris. It seems a bit better. Never got to the hospital as I ended up with a bit of a fluey type bug so didn't want to spread it.

I would imagine that the pub has insurance for lost income through weather etc., hope things improve for you soon.
