Ouch!!! For the last 2 years or so, I've really suffered with a bunion on my right foot. Probably years of wearing stupidly ridiculous (but very lovely) shoes. Just bought one of those splints. No idea if they work.

Anyone else suffer? What's been your solution?

SH** does that link go to my account?
No BM..it goes to whoever clicks on its account.
And if you haven't got an account I assume it just goes straight to the product.

Phew. Didnt want you all to know what I had ordered for the OH's birthday.........
HaHa...I can imagine :-D

Actually, it's not that bad. I emailed the bar chap we met in Tenerife and asked him his recipe for OH's favourite cocktail so I ordered all the kit to make him one. Or two.
Good idea...
Just logged into my Amazon to track some packages and I'm getting loads of bunion treatments 'Inspired by your browsing history' lol

Yeah you want to see some of MY suggested adverts..... ;)
I was told by Podiatrist I saw last year, and she poo pood the daft shoes theory and said they can just be hereditary which makes sense to me. I only used to have one on my left foot, and have developed the one on my right over the last few years, when I have only worn sensible flat shoes.

Tbh Baths, I'm not sure its due to bad shoes. Yes I always wore stilettos for going out and from time to time in the office but I actually wore quite sensible shoes. You only have to see my mother's feet tho to understand bunions, I was shocked when I saw them - her big toe is at an alarming angle so perhaps it is hereditary.
Pasta, loads of stuff on ebay, if you type in Bunion Corrector. Two gel protectors for £1.89, free postage too!
Yup Genuine,....looks like you ARE the queen ;)

Should've stuck to Clarke's brown lace ups!

Good luck!
Thanks for the links/info.
I think it's hereditary...my mum had them bad. I suppose she-like me-wore pointy toed shoes when she was young. But I only remember her in "sensible" shoes. I wore mostly flats as I got older. In fact, I just went shopping for my first pair of heels in about a zillion years. Ok...make that about 35. ;-0
OH had bunions that caused 2 centre toes to cross on both feet. He never wore stilletos.
....as far as you knew, Tambo.......
Incidents of Bunions are far more common amongst women than men, who tend not to wear high heel pointy shoes.
Get off your hobby horse Mikey, please.
Ummm....I don't have a hobby horse. I am merely pointing out some facts......most people who suffer from Bunions, and yet there are people that are now denying the link between them, and pointy, high-heeled shoes.
