....not only are they on upside down....they are very white.....

A few weeks ago Janet starts applying a moisturiser which promises, after a few applications, to create a golden glow....
See Janet smile in anticipation.....

Seven hundred and thirty two applications later Janet has slightly golden legs......
See Janet smile happily.....until last night.... :-(

Janet was bitten.....and no....not by John......probably by a rare and dangerous, life threatening bug........

Janet now has one slightly golden leg......and one rather large, swollen and very red, weeping leg....Janet is not smiling.....

John thinks they should seek medical help but Janet wants dinner and wine......quite a lot of wine......
John can cook.....pah!...He won't have the problems Janet had with this oven.....
See John smirk.....

John ignores Janet's warning about the oven......
See John burn his hand......

Tomorrow's episode?
Two visit the hospital on bikes..... :-)

I'm glad I didn't inherit the pale skin. My daughter did though...
Question Author
You didn't, Ummmm?.....lucky you......I have red hair and the whitest skin....more Kerry than Mayo where they're dark and black haired like my brother and sister..... :-(
I tan easily. So do my sons.

You should be able to get something for your leg over the counter.
"leg over"? No need to lower the tone.
My daughter is Mayo and most of her family are redheads. She's blonde.
Question Author
I have never tanned, Ummmm....I have had a skin cancer removed from my face....not from my sun bathing but I suppose from childhood.....when I go out in the sun I look like a tent with a hat on.... :-(

I'm sure I'll get the leg sorted tomorrow.....it's my longer leg...now it's wider too......walking round in circles seems likely.....x
Janet Has Irish Legs....

Are they on back to front ;-)
Question Author
Growing up there were very few redheads in Mayo.... My wayward great gran was a redhead but that was rare.
There were many Spanish sailors shipwrecked off Mayo.....which explains the dark skin and hair...
I get my colouring from the Kerry side.....white skin...dark red hair.....x

That could explain my inability to control a shopping trolley, Tony....but no...upside down...thick ankles and dimples instead of nicely shaped ankle bones.... :-(
My OH is Sligo and he's a redhead...as are quite a few of his family.
Question Author That could explain my inability to control a shopping trolley, Tony

Mmmmmm, yes it would wouldn't it.

John thinks they should seek medical help

So does Tony, get a doc to take a look at it, gne errrrr I mean Janet.

Question Author
Now we don't have a redhead at all in our Sligo lot....they are all blonde.....but I think that's fairly rare....I don't recall many blondes in Ireland....at least in my family.....bar the Sligo crowd......they're a nice lot...x
Question Author
Thanks, Tony.......I will if the wine hasn't cured it by morning......x
Hope it's looking / feeling better by morning.
Question Author
Mmmm....I'll look...you feel....... ;-)
That sounds nasty, I would definitely get it looked at tomorrow, if it is no better. Hope it doesn't spoil your holiday.
LOL ;-)
Question Author
I'm sure it won't, Marval........all my life I've never been bothered by, or reacted to bites......but...
This is the second time I've been stricken......a few holidays ago I spent a couple of days in bed with a raging temperature, hugely swollen arm and pain after a bite...
Funny how we change....MrG used to say I drank so much Guinness bugs avoided me.....will have to up my intake again........ :-)
O.M.G. gness - I think we're related! My mum's dad was Irish and Spanish-looking (from the same sort of area) v. dark hair and olive ski n and it was a family legend that we were related to the Spanish sailors of the Armarda who were shipwrecked off the W. coast of Ireland. I don't burn easily, 1 daughter does.
My daughter doesn't even burn. She just doesn't change colour.
